What you did with your car is just simply amazing... For me seeing the photos you showed is just breathtaking... You know - I knew a lot of people saying that they want to fully restore their cars to original state, but looking at what you did I can only say that none of them was even close to it...

And considering the amount of money you spent on your car and the way you did it Daihatsu should honor you with some kind of a "True Daihatsu Lover" title ;)

There is everytime one person they did it better. In my case is this Mr. Sergio Gomes from Portugal, he spend so many time within the restauration, this is unbeliveable.

He is still in progress with his restauration.

The most expansive part was the painting job, but for sure, if you know an professional painter you can handle a G10 restore like my one for about 2000,- Euro if you get enough time to get spare parts over the year(s) as I did it.

The hardes thing was the rear bumper, I need 2 years to get a new one, but after that I could buy it for 10,- Euro......

Restore a Daihatsu is great, makes fun and it is much cheaper as you may think.

Some parts I could buy at ebay, most parts are from my Daihatsu Dealer, and some parts are "new old stock" from another Daihatsu Dealer.

What parts you are looking for? Maybe I can help you to find what you search for?
