I've a lot of problems with my HC-E 1993 Charade. When i throttle a bit the engine sounds very unstable,in highway Check Engine lights turn on at 120km/h. Someone have the service manual for HC-E Charade? |

Hello! I have this engine in my Charade. There are no engine service manual available on the net. Your problem may be caused by malfunctioning engine coolant sensor (on battery side of the engine) try disconection of this sensor after the engine has warmed up. It may be diificult disconnecting this plug. You must release square spring or plug may be destroyed (as mine ). Beside this i never had a problem with this engine.

I'm really lost with this engine, i had an Honda Integra LS and my best friend was a honda techinical. i'll inspect that coolant temp sensor, how much cost it? i was thinking about the high fuel consumption (15km/l at 100km/h). Can you take a picture of your engine? nobody here knows much about this engine, the common engine is CB series. |
